We had a lovely stay with our granddaughter and enjoyed the nearby Rosemond Gifford Zoo, which was a hit with the kids. The location is also great for checking out things like the Palace Theater and all the fun activities around town.
My kids wished for better food options nearby.

It was just an ideal choice for a fleeting trip in East Syracuse with real value for money. The room was pretty dingy, but the shower, despite being clogged, did have decent water pressure. Be careful with where you park. the area isn't very safe at night.

Terrible experience with cleanliness and safety
I stayed 4 nights in a King Room, Non-Smoking and was extremely disappointed with the overall cleanliness. The room had a foul odor, and I found stains on the furniture, which made it hard to relax. The staff was unresponsive when I raised my concerns, leaving me feeling uneasy about my safety during the stay.

Not the best stay
I stayed 4 nights in a king room and honestly, it was just ok. The bed was fine, but the colors were wild—think Concord purple! The bathroom sink also leaked, and I had to use my phone since the hotel phone didn't work. On the bright side, Denny’s was just across the street, which was a plus!

The picnic area was delightful, a perfect spot for enjoying a meal outdoors. The accessibility made it easy for seniors to navigate the grounds comfortably, and I found the staff incredibly friendly and accommodating during my stay.
More seating for breakfast guests would be nice.

The noise level from neighboring rooms was distracting. I could hear other guests partying late into the night, which might not be ideal for light sleepers. Also, the absence of an elevator was a hassle, especially when lugging bags up the stairs. My particular room had some minor issues, like slightly worn fixtures, which didn’t match the fresh look promised by the renovation details.

mixed feelings about my stay
The staff were polite and tried to assist us during our stay. The location was convenient for my purposes and easy to access. The King Room Non-Smoking feature was appreciated for a smoke-free environment.
However, my overall experience was marred by cleanliness issues.

My stay was disappointing. The room was filthy with trash and stains everywhere. I hated the smell of cigarettes and urine, and the bathroom sink leaked. Will not return.

The room was a mess. It smelled like cigarettes and urine, and the couch had some nasty stains. My bathroom sink leaked, and there were no screens on the windows. The noise from the hall was unbearable since kids were running around and talking loudly. Plus, cleaning stuff was just left out in the hallway. Definitely not a great stay.

Free parking and good Wi-Fi, but the walls are way too thin for sleep.
